Elk Antler Growth

Any of you locals that have been able to get out scouting want to offer your thoughts on how the elk antler growth looks this year compared to other years? Are you seeing above average development with the wetter than normal fall/winter/spring? I know there has been a lot of speculation that this will be a banner year. Just wondering if that is becoming true or not.

I have an early archery tag in unit 27 but unfortunately live too far away to get in any summer scouting.

You have pulled some great tags over the years. Congrats. Looking forward to your hunt report. My bet is Arizona is above average this year for antler growth. Have a great hunt.

If the Governor and Commissioner tags are any indication, the elk are doing just fine! Both were monster velvet bulls! Should be a great hunt in 27!

I just got back from 5 days of scouting bulls. Bulls are basically done growing and looking great. Looking to be a great year.

Almost plowed into a nice 7x7 Saturday night. The antler growth looks to be solid this year.

Seen a giant over the weekend in unit 10 , really good year to have a tag, looking forward to seeing some good bulls posted this year.

Headed out next Sunday to unit 10 from Ohio. Hope I can get into some nice bulls. Going to give it all I got!

Ill be in 6A. Cant wait for the hunt. It starts for me on the 15th, but going down the 20th-30th. Fingers crossed to get into them down there, coming from Utah.
