I have not received my email yet. Everyone else I know has received their email. I’m not expecting any successful on my email when I get it. My daughter drew a LE Wasatch mid-season rifle elk tag and my son drew a muzzleloader general deer tag so I will be busy. I have my last year of DH this year as well. It is going to be a fun year.

Well got mine. 3rd choice for my archery tag but it's a tag. Pretty stoked to hunt cache meadowville with my son. He drew it with zero points. So hunt the public hard and see what happens.

Well, all but one of my family members were unsuccessful. My middle son did draw the San Rafael North Antelope tag. It's a unit and area that we have not hunted. We are looking forward to doing some scouting.

True. Recieved first of 5 emails in morning and last email for one of my sons about 6:30PM. That last email was a limited deer tag in random draw. Numerous points out of max pool. ?

I am still waiting for mine, everyone else in my family have received theirs. I’m not holding my breath for any successful to show up with my low random odds of drawing any of the tags I put in for. Have fun.

I think the DWR shared that there was a 96% survival rate for all collared elk across the state after the winter, with some small pockets of significant die off in some of the more northern areas.
Overall elk are doing well in Utah.

Try to get it done the first few days..it starts getting crowded when the muzzy deer hunt starts..the elk head for their hidey holes

Sorry that it’s come to this and drawing just a general tag has become such a chore. That is not how it should be.

Man it does suck but I play odds. I drew a shitty archery unit but it's a tag. My kid drew an Ogden general rifle tag. We usually hunt cache but he drew that last year and took the buck in my avatar. He also drew a le bull tag on a less desirable unit. I think people would get a lot more tags if they didn't go for the top notch units. General units included

I've been doing that the past few years just drawing a shitty unit with 0 points and buying my wife points and she was up to 6 so I put in with her figuring 3 points was enough to draw a muzzy tag on a good unit but I guess not.

Damn man!! That sucks. The shitty units still hold animals. I'd rather be out in the mountains then at home on the couch. My kid drew cache meadowville with 0 points for the mid season rifle hunt. I know it's tough unit but will make the best of it.

I had a 90+ percent to draw my first 2 choices but I got my 4th choice. But it is what it is. I'll hunt the unit and then hunt the extended archery after my kids tags.

I just put in for one specific unit that I grew up hunting so I didn't want to burn 6 points on anything but that unit so I'm ok not drawing at least my kid drew for the unit that I was hoping to draw
