Hey All,
I am going to finally use my Elk points and draw 76 Archery Elk for this season. This hunt has been on my radar for the last 4-5 years. I have already begun marking up my maps and reaching out to different outfitters for drop camp/pickup information. I have searched all the archives on here and there is a ton of good info although its unfortunate rocketman's posts are not on here anymore. (if they are i cant find them)
Long story short, what i am hoping i can get some feedback on, is reputable outfitters in the area , or packers that know the country well. And if anyone can give me a ballpark cost per person to get dropped off 5-10 miles in and picked up roughly 7-10 days later.
I saw one of the members here paid 1200-1500 to get dropped off 9 miles in and that included pack out. Wondering if those numbers are realistic for other people to get dropped in.
