It’s kinda hard to tell for sure, but they are probably Pinon Jays or Scrub Jays. Around here they’re called “pinon squawkers”. I’ll get some closer views in a couple days when I get things downloaded.Okay, you birders……… this flicker showed up this morning. Along with the flicker, 15 or 20 of these blue-gray birds came in at the same time. Last year, for the first time in 47 years, it was all flickers.

I down loaded a Bird Identification app. and a Piñon Jay is what it came back with too. The ones we have look a little different, but they travel in big noisy flocks.
