I had a chance to get out on my annual November trip to see if any mature bucks made it through the hunting season. The picture quality isn't the best as these are screenshots from phonescope video but I was still happy to see a few mature guys. This guy came back with a lot of extra trash. He looks good to me. A little better front end and he would be a mega-giant. Anyone want to give me an idea of his gross score? I've discussed it with a few and we are all over the place.

A pretty nice typical, but he go pretty washed out with the sun coming up directly at his back. His cape was as beautiful as his antlers.

A pretty nice 5x4 not taking any crap from the younger buck.

I hope to get out over Thanksgiving and maybe I will get some better quality photos next time.

First deer, those mass and trash inches add up quick, I bet he is around 200. With a better front end well into the 200s either way would be a deer of a lifetime for me. Love the pics.

That top buck is something I would love to find while hunting. I think he will go around 204”. Nontypical inches can push a gross score significantly higher.

First buck is 200”. Great buck in any unit. Better than most Strip bucks this year.

200+ 1st buck
179 second buck
Where in the heck is the rest of them Big Buck's. I know you found a few more . LOL

Ya, I think both of them are fairly young and have a good chance at blowing up next year. Those type of deer get me excited for July and August scouting in the high country.
Neither of those bucks in the 1st 2 pics are less than 5. That first buck is at least 7; and more like 8. That bottom buck in the series of 3 pics is fairly young, but those other 2 are 5-6. According to my superb biological skills. Well ..that and I've seen them in previous years. :)

IMO mulie bucks need minimum of 8-9 years to reach maximum horn growth. glade these
are hopefully making it a few more years

Yep. That's him. I was out looking for another buck in that area and was pleasantly surprised to run across this one. I am hoping to get some good photos of one of the bucks I posted last year. He is back and looks really good.
