It was a tough hunt but I was happy to kill this buck. Had some missed opportunities at some bigger bucks but couldnt pass this one up. First year hunting this unit and spent a lot of time learning the area and how to hunt it. Killed him with my great grandpas 257 Roberts and handloaded 100 GR Barnes TTSX.

Awesome buck.
I love that you used the old "Bob" to get it done. I had a Roberts that shot lights out with 100g Nosler Partitions. The accuracy and light recoil made it an ideal rifle for my son when he was young.
