2500 photographs and someone decides to put up the second meme Tony is rolling over in his grave
And waaaaay back there is Casa de Blue
Ain’t it amazing the kind of enhancement a Mason jar will add to a well crafted photo!Sticking with the storm, here’s the turkeys trying to figure things out. I later got pics of them feeding in the tops of the russian olives, but that requires a download for another day.

Lights. I have 25 of them around the mountain shack - looks like a disco. I want to see the lion who kills me.Ain’t it amazing the kind of enhancement a Mason jar will add to a well crafted photo!
Enhancement seems appropriate then. To my knowledge I’ve never had one of those stinkers on my back step but….,,,,, I’ve seen one on both of my neighbors steps over the years.Lights. I have 25 of them around the mountain shack - looks like a disco. I want to see the lion who kills me.
Yup. These guys won’t make it another week. The hunters have started showing up, and lots of new glass hanging out the truck windows here. The rifles out the windows are what piss me offTo all the two and three year old bucks in CO, time to get your act together. Saturday is coming and the Busch Lite in the center consoles will not let you get any older staring at trucks on the side of road like you have been doing lately. View attachment 91157
Could save his life!lol....already got one shot off....
He actually grew a little spike on that side. Was in velvet and everything. I figured he injured it very early. It’s fairly common for one of these guys to be limping around at some point in the summer.lol....already got one shot off....
Lol….that took me a minute.View attachment 91497
Caught this guy looking up at me out the drivers window
Most of the critters around here are a result of irrigation showing up 30 years or so ago. I think they’ve gotten about as populous as the farmers or the fish cops want (cars, disease), and CPW is increasing doe tags in an effort to cut things back. So shrinking I guess.Blue is your little heard growing?
Dare you to reach down and pet that one!!???View attachment 91497

I never thought to look. If I see him again I’ll try to see. The ones that aren’t dead are pretty skittish these days.Bluehair
The deer with the handle bar spikes has the face of a doe. Does that deer have male plumbing?
Thanks for all the nice pictures you post! ??
We’ve been having the same kind of sunrises here lately.
You need a winch….and a looooong rope. That looks like my driveway a couple times a year. What happens when your driving along in deep snow drifts and you forget to shut off traction control. These new trucks try to tell you how to drive, they never included four foot plus drifts to plow through in the programming. View attachment 92792
Cool. Great guard dog, doing an excellent job. No turkey crap on that lawn! You need a winch….and a looooong rope. That looks like my driveway a couple times a year.View attachment 92807

I still have a few pics left, but the deer fun is pretty much over. They start shooting the does today.Thought you would be running out of pictures of your herd. How many bucks are left?
To bad, must be fun watching them throughout the year. Think they run off and hide, or did they hit the dirt? Seemed like a good herd and if they come back every year some of them must be finding a safe place to hide.I still have a few pics left, but the deer fun is pretty much over. Here’s how you know for sure the deer are gone. View attachment 93142
Almost all the 4x4 types get whacked. There might be one or two of those dozen or so that I’ll ever see again (One this morning that came within minutes of a roadhunter). The forkies are next years crop of “mature” bucks, so next year should be ok.To bad, must be fun watching them throughout the year. Think they run off and hide, or did they hit the dirt? I definitely need to hunt where you hunt if o am ever going to post a picture in the 30” plus thread. ??
