When you're in the right spot and it all comes together in a split second
, I haven't had much luck this year of even laying eyes on a legal buck and then poof, shot these two this am a few seconds apart. I was still hunting through the oaks and spotted the smaller forky, made a sneak on him and got blown up by a doe I didn't see, and the party started and ended fast, smaller buck started to trot off and one shot behind the ear (truthfully i was trying for a neck shot ) and then the bigger one steps out from behind a oak and in the neck for him... Dust settled and tags filled.. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good!!!!!
