My 12 year old son drew his first mule deer tag. Unit 15. We are aware that there are not many deer in 15. We have a cabin rented in Alpine. I have hunted 15 a few times but always for elk. Looking for some input on what kind of country the deer prefer in 15?
The season is late, Nov 19 -27. Planning on starting north of Luna a ways in the sage country and moving around until we figure it out. Any advice is appreciated.
