Thank you, for years I had intentions of hunting one of the good southern bear units. The last couple years I got a wild hair idea that it would be cool to kill one close to home. I setup 100 yds from my bait and hunted with a rifle, wanted the kids to be able to tag along. Seen lots of bears on camera but they were very nocturnal. Finally caught this one coming in with some daylight left. This was the summer tag.

Gorgeous color phase bruin!!

I had a summer tag in 2020 and even though I have had some epic hunts with my bow for bugling bull elk that hunt was probably My favorite all time hunt.
