Keep one eye open on those afternoon naps...Lots of eagles hanging around this year. I think they fly over the porch just to see if I’m dead yet.View attachment 69624

Are those geese or cranes in the sky?
Geese. They’ve started pairing up in the last week. I have a thing for multi critter pics. Are those geese or cranes in the sky?
Where dat??View attachment 69831
Same beach the snail was on takes a few vehicles every year or so. Sand is tricky sometimes.
If I recall this was an early 90s Bronco.
I don’t have many, but here’s a Junco that was here a couple of years ago.Blue hair, I like the oddities and rarities of the wildlife world. Cool turkey. Here's a couple. Sorry for the poor pic quality of a couple.
A piebald blacktail doe, a Eurasian wigeon in with American wigeon which are becoming more common on the west coast but still rare and a Robin with a white head.View attachment 69919View attachment 69920View attachment 69922
Human ingenuity is incredible…….Since we are arguing about rare earths up above, todays extra bonus pic for Lumpy is our loader on America’s rare earths mine. That’s the most expensive set of tire chains any of you have probably ever seen. I could argue about rare earths all day, but we’ll just hide that down here.View attachment 70126
Is that on your back 40?
Not sure which you are asking about (references attachment number). The golden is on the power pole out front of the house. Eagles like it.Is that on your back 40?
Hmmm, the attachment # shows for me in my reply. Anyway, I meant the bear. Not sure which you are asking about (references attachment number). The golden is on the power pole out front of the house. Eagles like it.
The bear is up near our cabin. They’re pretty tall when they want to be I just have a few “real” bear pics. I have a zillion trail cam pics which I don’t consider photography.
Not sure why, but I had thought you lived at a higher altitude & in the forest, more like in the sort of country in my photo for today..This fire was a few years back and a little closer to home.View attachment 70469
My cabin is up in the hills. Pj’s down here; spruce and aspen at the summer place. Not sure why, but I had thought you lived at a higher altitude & in the forest, more like in the sort of country in my photo for today..

50 miles and 2 hours on gravel fs roads. A little quicker the long way on some pavement, a path I rarely take.Aaah. That explains my confusion.
How far from one to the other?
