Thought I'd make my first post on here about my 2 favorite things, fly fishing and bighorns. This was a pretty cool sight to see! Great day

Geological Loop road/Sheep Creek?

In the neighborhood. Jones Hole, it's a little trib to the green down further. Dude I never seem to see any decent rams on sheep creek. Guess I'm not really out there in prime time looking specifically for them. But I often take breaks in the evening from summer boating or fishing trips to the Gorge and find ewes and little guys. Nothing like the guy on the left. Thanks

The bigger Rams winter along there and can often be seen up high along the Death Valley ridges and up on the 'face' above Sheep Creek Ranch, I guess it's called Forbes Family Ranch now.

I thought they shot out/killed all those Jones Hole/ Goslin Side sheep about 10 years ago?

Neat pix none the less

thanks,

Robb

Thanks for the info. As for these guys, the last few years I've fished Jones I've seen sheep every time. From the trailhead on down to the confluence. And up by the water all. Looks like they're back or at least where they're hanging out in the summer. If I wasn't 15 points behind the curve I'd be very interested in that unit
