Thanks gentlemen for the kind words, and the fella for making this website for us all to share our experiences. They are too few and far between. Pray all of you have the opportunity to experience a OIL type hunt before you’re done and that you get lots of video to remember it and share the experience. Thought someone might like to see the final product from last years sheep hunt. I’m over the moon with the results. Went to pick him up knowing he wasn’t a giant but knew he was a mature ram. Was told he was an 8 year old ram by the biologist and you usually get ground shrinkage. In my case he didn’t grow but turned out to be an older 101/2 years old ram. If I can’t get big and old I’m more than happy with old. Taxidermist knocked it out of the park.
Wife relented and let me hang him in the bedroom so I get to see him every morning when I wake up and every night before I close my eyes. What a sweetheart, I’m a lucky man!

Fantastic mount-you definitely chose one of the best in the business to do the work. If I am ever fortunate enough to kill a sheep, I will have Paul Pennie do the taxidermy work as well??
