Me too, but the NR license fee is a little too much for me. Be trying to hit the lottery for oryx in Tx but those odds are worse than Powerball odds. Congrats to Brent on a beautiful cow!

Hah!!! I don't know or care how many of these you've been around, but it's obvious you need more time with them.

Curious what you think of this one. I'll share the length after you horribly swing and miss once again.

Hint: The Orange Man in the photo above is 6'-8" and a very dense 450#...

Alternatively: (17" long + 3-1/2" bases) x 2 = 41" (SCA)

Oh - I'm just poking fun. It's pretty clear both of those have plenty of bone to hang on the wall.

Oh so close, but not quite. ?

17" x 2.5 + another 1" will almost get you there on the length of that beast.

The point being... It's easy to be wrong when judging horn length based solely on a picture.

In case anyone is wondering, the orange man's oryx is the NM state record. It's a cow with horns that are just short of 44" with 7" bases. It's a truly remarkable animal, but it's tough to tell by the picture.
