Finally let an arrow fly ! I haven’t had much time to hunt lately but this afternoon I strapped on my lone wolf climber and headed out ! I went in pretty early today , set up my doe decoy and climbed way up a pretty good sized tree. It was pretty slow till the last hour , first a few does then a young buck. The young buck came in all bristled up and would not leave my decoy !!! Well when the second buck came in he had no choice ! Literally ran him clear out of the woods , then the better buck returned. He had no clue I was there , totally locked in on the decoy and the rest is history. I’m pretty happy but a big part of me tells me if he had one more year ......... but it is what it is !
