I went down this weekend to unit 29 to help my brother and promo out. My brother scored on the first day. Primo is still hunting hard. Met some really nice people down there.
Tons of grass everywhere. All cattle tanks were full and most of the dirt tanks had some water. Saw more deer in the afternoon than the mornings. How were the conditions? I head that way in a week and have never stepped foot there. Just curious on roads, tank levels, etc. Appreciate the help and nice buck!

I got a tag for mule deer Oct 29 22 in unit 29. I’ve scouted Cornudas mountain area and I’ve seen some decent bucks but the area is pretty rough. I’ve been told piñon area is pretty good but haven’t had a chance to scout that area. Some pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Elk ???Another year in 29, another brother and another buck. Wasn’t the best buck we saw. The cool weather made it nice. I was amazed with the amount of elk we saw.
