How is the mule deer season going?

Whats your mule deer hunts been like this year, and in what area?
Weather been mostly warm lately i believe. Sure was windy and nasty for a few days though, and a little snow.
Any nice buck pics?

Definitely some well managed property you are hunting. Nice bucks! Looks like Four Horse Outfitters country to me.

You have to let the young ones walk....Doesnt hurt that we have some of the best mule deer hunters around as guides either!

Mine pretty much tanked. NV Area 221 Early. I'd glassed up some decent bucks preseason. Both times I tried hunting 'em, ATV's, pickups, and groups of hunters and their crews everywhere. The last 15 minutes of my hunt, I saw a BUCK! Gave him a pass, a tiny 2x1. Great country views, and some new scenery however!

I agree whole heartedly, unfortunately I didn't follow through with that philosophy. Pretty sure my private land buck was only 3 1/2 yrs. Teeth will tell the tale though.
