Where is that?
It's the backside of the Roosevelt Arch, the entrance to YNP near Gardiner, MT. It holds the 'cornerstone' laid there by Teddy in 1903 to commemorate the country's first national park.Where is that?

A similar photo of the front side, which is on my broken computer, shows the large, carved-in-stone inscription near the top that reads, " For the Benefit and Enjoyment of the People."
That reminded me of this whitetail doe. No tail. He’s also lost the end of his tail. No black.
Another pic by your house?
Yes, that’s out the truck window on the “driveway”. Driveway is somewhat misleading and makes it sound more civilized than it is. It was originally recorded with the official name “Beer Trail”. Now it has a numberAnother pic by your house?
Dam-n, you got a petting zoo in your backyard. You sorta have to take my word, but there are 4 sets of bucks hooked up in this pic. You can see most of them. I always liked watching a playground fight.View attachment 56958
I get up pretty early ever since I delivered the Az Republic on my bike 50 something years ago. Right now every morning when I go outside before the sun comes up, I can hear them rackin it up.Dam-n, you got a petting zoo in your backyard.

Terrible camera, terrible lighting and inexperience. He was amazingly huge and I've never seen him againGood shot. Maybe do a bit of work on it, tho.
This what I was able to do with the posted image in about 4 mins. The RAW camera image would allow more editing leeway. That's a hellava bull. Did you notice the other elk off in the background?Terrible camera, terrible lighting and inexperience. He was amazingly huge and I've never seen him again
Gotcha.I wanted to post the unedited pic because it was probably the best opportunity I ever had to get a great shot and wanted to share my disappointing photo with everyone.
