Finally seeing a few more mature bucks, so decided to fill our tags. I have to head to Wyoming for one over there also. Filled mine this morning, and my partner about 4 hours later. Trusty 50 cal muzzy, 100 grain Pyrodex P, and 348 gr PowerBelts work every time!!! Pure lead expands like crazy, but it is what we are stuck with here.

At $300/ton or more this is the reason that farmers let you hunt them. Hay eating machines!! The elk are hammering the fields also.
