I've got a great one by Hayden Lambson, "Ruler of the Rim" --- a big drop-tined muley with two does standing on the snow-covered edge of the Grand Canyon. You'll have to do some searching to find one (print 1st made maybe 25 yrs. ago) ...

My favorite is from a Leanin Tree Christmas Card from the late 1970s or early 1980s. Reminds me of Piceance Creek.

Like Lv2hut I have "Ruler of the Rim" myself and I like Haydens "Stepping out of the Quakies" that I have on the same wall in my Man Cave. It is A Non-Typical coming out of a Quakie patch stoping with one leg up looking as too say I'am busted. With another Buck behind him in the shade. And here is a pic of "Ruler of the Rim". There is no pic of "Stepping out of the Quakies" on his web site.

I also am partial to "Buck Fever on No-Tellum Ridge" by Parsons.He is my favorite.I own the entire "no-Tellum" series,and have 4 extra copies of various prints in the series if anyone is interested.
Another fav of mine is Dave Wade.He won the Wyoming conservation stamp contest several times(years ago),but I haven't seen much from him in recent years.
 
+1 for 2 1/2 seconds on notellum ride. just picked this up on giclee for 1/2 of what its worth out of the MM classifieds.
 
My favorite is "One Last Look" by Brent Todd. I've had it a long time and it still reminds me of going to the Grey's River in the 80's. Beautiful country and a great picture.
 
2 1/2 second is a top print. Love the scene.

Dang, that IS nice. It's such a realistic scene...my instincts want to pull the rifle off my back and jack a shell in the chamber! Tremendous work.

Leon Parson is an amazing artist. He has a fun habit of hiding things in his pictures. I have a couple of prints where I have found things and I am sure I have missed other things that are there.

In "The Veteran" which features a big whitetail bedded down in the autumn colors. Next to him is one of his past sheds. High and to the right peaking through the leaves is a squirrel.

In "The Crest of No-Tellum", two non-typ muleys laying in rock beds in the pines, one facing and one looking away behind him in the shadows, there is some sage in the foreground. On one of the stalks of sage, there is a grasshopper. In the clouds behind the bucks is a red-tailed hawk soaring above the ridgetops.

If you are ever fortunate enough to see one of his original oils, these kinds of details are more obvious....if you can get over the initial shock of the featured subject.
 
Thanks eldorado for starting this post. I have enjoyed looking at some of the Artist's print's that I have not seen or forgot about. Plus adding some of my Favorite's too. How about starting one for Elk? on the Elk forum? Love to see it.
 
Man, those Leon Parson's are absolutely stunning. They are so true to life. Just curious...how much do those Parson prints usually go for??
 
Parsons is tough to beat.

I have a Dave Wade that's pretty cool.
The original was specially commissioned to portray what a 400" buck would look like.

I think Leon Parson is number one for mule deer prints. 2 1/2 seconds on canvas looks awesome. Hayden Lambson is another good artist with a more reasonable price tag. Maybe this weekend I will have time to take and post some pictures.

Double Take by Manuel Mansanarez is awesome. I can't get the Damn pic to load I'll keep trying. I look at that pic everyday, maybe one day I will experience two bucks of their caliber while packing my Muzzy.

I'm glad someone finally mentioned Price's name. I have a print of "No Place Like Home" that I absolutely love. It reminds me a lot of my dad who passed away back in 2010. It epitomizes 2 of the greatest things in the world... Muley Hunting, and Cowboyin'! I'll try to post a pic when I can.

I've been looking for one that I believe is called "Hidden Treasure" Has two bucks visible and just part of the antlers of a monster non typical stick out of the brush. Anyone have any idea who painted this?

I have that one too. It is my favorite. I could not find it on his web site. I think it is no longer available.

Many years ago I attended a mule deer show of some sort in Salt Lake. It wasn't MDF or SFW, but it was around the same time those groups started. I'm sure someone here would remember the show I'm referring to. Leon Parsons had a booth there with the original oil painting of "The Backside of No-Tellum Ridge." The price tag was $5k. Wish I would have bought it! I liked it so much I bought the print when I got back to Wy.

I really like that velvet pic! Seems like most mule deer paintings are hard horned in the snow, all rutted up, which is cool too of course

Edit: wow just realized this is an old resurrected thread!
 
Just picked up my favorite one today! There are a few others that I really love as well. Not sure I have room for all of the ones I want to buy in my house unless I have a dedicated art room! ?

I like that running for cover. I picture my favorite print having bucks with more average antlers. Maybe a toad and a couple few other smaller bucks. More realistic from what I see I guess
