Hunting Guides for Doyle or Devils Garden Muzzy Hunts

I got max points and should draw soon. What guides would you recommend? Thanks Bill

Both are migratory hunts and you could do either DIY. A guide could know a few hidey holes and maybe help with glassing and judging bucks for you. If you draw Doyle shoot me a PM as I had the tag a few years ago.

I had the M3 tag last year and scouted alot as I was helping my nephew with his X6B tag and he didn't fill his tag. I can't say it enough pray for snow. So many local people told me, Oh your going to see Soo many deer. It was cold but no real weather (snow) . it's a small zone not had to cover but take your time and glass. I ran into 5 other guys that had a tag, all said the same thing just not seeing any deer, No snow and the migration hadn't started. We found a small group deer with 2 good, not big bucks. Tried to find other but no luck. Took this one Wednesday, never saw all these deer I was told about. But I will say it was one of the best hunts in California I've been on in a while. We were hunting deer when we should be.

I’m not saying anything but ask 6x7 to chime in. He was hunting a 200” 4 point in there 3 years ago.

Oh I have no doubt, I was just unlucky and didn't get the weather to push them off the mountain. Hopefully I can get as lucky as I did last year and draw one of the 2 random draw tags like I did last year with only 2 points ?

When I had the tag we got a pretty good snow storm a few days into the hunt. I killed my buck on Thanksgiving Day and I can remember stalking my buck in 16 to 18 inches of snow.
