Are Texas javelina considered Big Game, like in Arizona, or can you hunt them year 'round, like coyotes?
Asking cuz I'm too lazy to look it up!

Fantastic, good on ya, dad. Excellent way to introduce hunting to youths.

Shocked at some of the threads lately with the obligatory, "need to get my 10 year old on an elk" when many of these kids have never even shot a small game animal.

My daughter also scored in Texas in 2020 with a nice Cull buck
I should add my twin girls have been shooting bows since they were 5 so Ya I agree start them young there 16 now and still love the outdoors

After his Javelina, my Son shot his first Whitetail a year later in South Texas.
