23 yards. I snuck in on him and 11 other rams bedded. Got to 78 yards and ran out of cover. Was way too windy for a shot that far so I waited them out.. Little over an hour later they were up and feeding right to me.

That’s a bigger accomplishment than people know. Hunting them on public land in NM is Tuff and to harvest one with a bow is a big feather in your cap. Congrats

Haha well shoot I got extremely lucky to say the least. They fed right to me and I shot him at 23 yards. There was bigger rams in the bunch but I wasn't about to pass that shot with a bow.
