Genetic Link in Deer

I thought I'd share these pictures, the top picture is of a 4x3 killed in 2019 the bottom is of a 4x3 killed in 2002. They were both taken in the same small range in Wyoming about a 1/2 mile apart. Both have almost the exact same brow tine configuration (& both have 3 points, minus brow, on their left side). I figure that they have to be at least 3 or 4 generations apart.

That’s interesting. Our local genetic guy is from Colorado. Maybe he will chime in.
