Packed into one of my favorite spots during a cold front. Super cold, snowed and blowing wind. Got on a good bull the first night but could not close the deal. The next morning it was so cold, I walked about 60 yards from my tent and bugled. Had two instant responses and the closest Bull was about 500 yards away. I moved down the hill about 100 yards and gave a few cow calls and he cranked instantly. I hurried up and ranged a few trees to get some ideas on distance. I chirped at the bull and he stopped 40 yards away and I let her fly. He spun and crashed through the timber and piled up 30 yards away. He is a kind of freaky bull. I made two trips out and 3 buddies came and help me get the rest! Amazing time.
