Not much traffic on here lately. I figured we could have an antelope picture thread.

Here is the one I took opening morning with my two daughters, wife and disbled father on the hunt with me.

Ok. Here’s my 16 year old daughter’s. Northeast Nv. Don’t post pics much anymore, but decided I’d post this one Shot opening day. It was a fun hunt. To my surprise, this goat actually hit the 14” mark with that extra curl. I really like the curl and white tips. She was pretty excited.

That is awesome! Congrats to your daughter on a fine goat.
 
Holy cow Iowa, that is one heck of a goat. Doesn’t get much better than that. Congrats to her! Thanks for sharing those pics!

My opener coincided with poor visibility thanks to the fires burning in X7A. I was happy to relocate a buck I found while scouting within 100 yards of where I has seen him before. Curiosity got the best of him and he trotted in to fifty yards to check me out. He and I had become pretty good friends by this time and so I decided that I should have him over for dinner.

Thanks to those of you who gave me advice. Enjoy your seasons, everyone.

All awesome goats, congratulations to everyone!

would anyone that posted pictures be willing to post the length of there goats horns? I’m trying to get better at judging there length.
 
The lengths of mine were just under 15 inches, the prongs were 4.5 and the bases were larger that I expected at 7 inches.
 
Here’s my antelope from this year, first ever antelope tag, drew as an alternate, and got it done with a bow! Was able to take my 4 year old with me the day before and we even got to try a couple of stalks. The day I harvested my wife (who does not come from a hunting background) was with me and got to watch it all happen! 70 yards with the stick and string!

My first pronghorn last summer. Drew with zero points. Had no expectations nor a spotting scope so wasn't trophy hunting (at time I had no idea there was a 3 yr waiting period). There were other trophy hunters down the road glassing this group, but they left and I did a mile and half stalk and watched this guy run off 2 other bucks. I liked the way he looked and took him at roughly 170 yards.

My sons first big game animal...he was 12 and this was his second trip to Wyoming with my Dad and me. HIs first trip he was 10 and enjoyed hunting with Grampa and me. He's 20 now. :(
