Looks like you were close to me. Thank you and good luck to you also if you head back out.Ruff weekend for me... Got set up where I had spent a few weekends scouting and had a bachelor group of bucks located. At about 4 on Friday we got hit hard with that lightning storm, we had multiple strikes hitting all of the surrounding ridges. Fun... At about 5:30 we noticed a nice size smoke plume rising from the ridge behind camp and at about 7:45 we decided to pack it all up and head out of that country. As it turns out it was a good call because all of that country is now gone. Scrambled Friday night to plan B and hunted hard all day Saturday and Sunday morning with only 1 doe to show for it. Moved again Sunday afternoon to find 18 deer Sunday night. Winds shifted Monday morning and blew all that smoke into us which made for frustrating conditions. Got a shot Monday morning and missed.... All my fault! Came home a day early to refocus and will be back soon for redemption!!! Good luck next weekend Elk_Nuts!

I didn't miss left or right. I shot an inch over his back. I make that shot all day usually and I practice in the wind daily as it's always windy at my place this time of year. I just blew it. I knew the second I sent it that it was going high. I don't know if the wind was 40mph It was windy but the wind was at my back. Left and right wasn't an issue. Pin placement in the wind was. Still should have made the shot.Nuts, not trying to criticize your shot. Just wondering how far left or right of your target do you aim in a 40 mph wind at 74 yards? To all the other lucky tag holders, good luck and share your successes!
