here it is my 2020 Utah archery antelope. I had a blast on this hunt, i kinda wish utah would offer more opportunity to hunt these guys. I seen a ton of goats and had a lot of fun. Ended my hunt on day two with this super simetrical buck. Only 1/4 inch deduction on him. He grossed 75 1/4 and the only difference was a 1/4 on his prongs.

My buddy Pat got his goat on day 1, his first pronghorn ever and only his second animal with a bow.

I found this awesome deer shed out in the desert too. It was a dang good weekend of hunting.

Are you sure that you didn't leave a couple inches on that first buck?
Maybe it's the well taken photo's of him that is deceiving my old eye's but that buck looks a little closer to 78-80" to me.
Either way they are both great trophy's.
Congrats.

Congrats Jake and your buddy! Way to get it done with the bow!! Nice buck also.
What pose mount did you pick? IMO antelope look great as a wall pedestal.

Haha, he looked pretty good on the hoof too. I didn't take much time to evaluate him when deciding to take him, just seen good length and good mass with good cutters and liked his look, Everythingabouthim just looked good. I Decided to go after him. He is 14 long on the dot, with 5 and 4.75 inch cutter. And then 6, 6, 4, and 2.75. On both sides. Everything was dead even except that cutter.

Hi Jake, you got some great pictures of your harvest and tell Pat congrats that’s a great trophy for his 2nd only bow kill!
awesome Job!

My opinion Utah is a sleeper state for Antelope. Honestly yeah they don’t have the number of goats in most states. But I agree with you on that the opportunity part. The goats are there. When I had the plateau archery tag I was unsuccessful but the hunt was freaking amazing. The way they rut, and beautiful country. Seen tons of goats! Hope to do it again someday again also!
