Well since all home: media of larger G3 buck post season....sorry but near dusk and this guy did not let me get close so telephoto video and less than good clarity . Only saw him twice and both times on the run! Have got close to many larger bucks in G3 over the years but not this guy.

More Mule Deer fun and games. No telling how long these mule deer bucks had been playing when I started filming. Moved closer and they broke and one went uphill one down hill. From the looks of the hillside a long time since sage brush tore to heck on hillside. Both seemed none the worse for ware but tired. At one time thought they were locked together and they might have been. California bucks about the first of December in Zone G3.

I killed my first 4 point mule deer in X3a back in the early 90's. Hunted the Warners a few times in the late 90's early 2000's. Now I've hunted all over the west and still consider Modoc County, CA to be one of my favorite places to hunt deer.----SS

I snapped the photo of the buck to the left in California (July, 2016). I couldn't find him in 2017; perhaps some MMer has him hanging in their garage?
