New turkey gun project

I bought a new Stoeger skeet about a month ago & turned it into a project gun.
I first ordered some Indian Creek .660 choke tubes, swivel studs, fiber optic pin & a sling.
I then ordered some Duracoat woodland tan for the base coat & matte clear to finish it off.
I stripped it down, removed the checkering and added my own stippling with a rotary file. Installed the studs, recessed the shell holder into the stock & etched all of the metal.
After applying 2 cans of the Duracoat base I went to work hand painting the pattern for KUIU 2.0. I still have to spray it with the clear but I’m going to wait a few weeks before I do. I’m super happy with the way it turned out.

Yeah it was fun. Thanks! Now I need to take it out to check the pattern and POI.

Is the green and black paint duracoat paint also?

Look awesome. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
No the green, gray & black are all Behr exterior paint with primer. I did the Behr paint because they could match the colors for me. They aren’t perfectly the same, but really close. Once the paint has fully dried a week or so I plan to spray it with 2 full cans of Duracoat matte clear.

Thanks man! I am ready... I absolutely love turkey hunting.

Ditto for me. I'm addicted to turkey hunting also!

And that is one nice looking turkey killing machine. I like the idea of two barrels with different choke tubes.

I'm waiting to see that bad boy posted with a nice Tom!!! ?
I have 2 hunts planned this year one in UT & one in MS. I’m hoping to tag a marriam in UT & maybe 1 or 2 easterns in MS. I will post pics if I get one down.

I have 2 Indian Creek .660 chokes in this gun. My other O/U turkey gun I have a .665 in the top barrel & a .675 in the bottom. I like that combo a lot in that particular gun.

I’m completely done with my project. I ended up spraying it with 3 cans of the Duracoat matte clear.
Now I’m waiting for the 2 new Sumtoy chokes that I ordered so I can take the gun out to check the pattern & POI.
