Looking to find new prairie dog towns/areas to shoot- only areas I’ve shot are the Pawnee National Grasslands near Colorado/ Wyoming Border- 500 k acres, interspersed with lots of Private Lands, but good areas! Looking to expand my shooting areas, around areas like Briggsdale, Sterling, Crook...

    Antelope 63-2

So sorry to hear that ! Darn bad luck there ! There is still quite a lot of BLM land around Pathfinder Resvr that can be accessed by BLM roads which are many in that area by simply coming off Hwy 220 from Muddy Gap to Casper. I’ve been all over that area many times- before these last 2 killer...

    Antelope 63-2

I’ve hunted both units before , but not since these last 2 monster winters ! I’d rate 63-2 as better because of better viewing of the antelope & more broken up landscapes, especially around Pathfinder Resvr. , plus it’s easier to hunt since there is a patch of BLM land right between Pathfinder &...

    Cody Area Elk

A very big pistol too. As they say in Alaska, save the last round for yourself if you shoot a bear 🐻 with a pistol- you’ll need it !! Alaska bush pilot pearl of wisdom! Jerry

    Antelope recommendation

How right you are about New Mexico having bigger & better antelope bucks- but it will cost you lots more $$$$- all private lands if & when you can get a permit - can’t draw a public land tag, Residents get most of those. My experience! Jerry 😁🍀
