I’m starting to get more and more excited for the upcoming hunting season! My family and I have some unexpected really good hunts coming this season! We’ll start off in a couple weeks chasing bears, my Dad drew the same tag I had last year! Then for the fall we have our dedicated deer tags here...

Thanks for the replies, after doing some more research, looks like I may actually go with the Kowa 664.

I have the chance to pick up a used Swarovski STS (non hd) 20-60x65 for about $1000 it’s a 2007 model. I could also go with a leupold Santiam sx-5 in 27-55x80 for about the same price. Does anybody have experience with either of these scopes, if so I’d love your thoughts.
