Sure it is a system of entitlement. Right now you have better odds only because you are at the top of the point pool. What would happen if this was your first year to get a point? What does you odds look like? Sorry but our kids right now who are entering the system will be waiting 3 25 years...

Haha. There is absolutely no guarantee with points you will get to hunt them. Right now a 12 year old that is starting to buy points will not be eligible for tag until they are in their 60s. Assuming the point creep and tag allocation remain similar. But yes keep believing that buying a point...

Yes if we get rid of the personal entitlement perspective/emotion 100% is the best system. As you pointed out the revenue is not an issue there are a ton of ways to make up that revenue.

Sure it would. The revenue is stupid and anyone who lives in WY should be upset that the state agency is making that much money for nothing. As for those with points, they bought a point nothing more... But heck we can easily make up the point revenue. But the solution for those with points...

Haha. I can think of several ways the game and fish could make up the $$$ and not be a big deal. Points are easy but do we really want any state agency making $$$$ for selling absolutely nothing? Such a system goes against what most in WY stand for…

I have seen it take hold up to 9500-10,000.... East of Baggs there is an area with it just over 9,500 and outside of Dubois I know an area where is it just over 10,000 feet. I am sure it is higher just cant think of places I have seen it...

@Buzz and other WY guys. When we pass the 90/10 for Deer/Lope we should also have that include a much higher minimum fee for the wilderness rule... If anything this highlights that the law as written is not an adequate deterrent to preventing the crime as such we need that fine to higher risk.
