I think you could definitely get a ticket for it. Shooting from a different area is all part of the attempt to take the animal. If you trespassed and shot an animal from private land without permission onto public land you'd still get a ticket for hunting without permission guarantee it

Pursue to the game and fish means attempt to take so no you can't pursue/ attempt to take game in the wrong unit

Onx 3d satellite mode is about as close to a picture as you're gonna get. And once you e scout a few spots and see them in person you can be pretty damn sure what you're getting into on onx from there on out

I would agree to a 50/50 type system if it used your points for any antlered tag not just first choice.

I'm not at the top I'm in the middle with a ways to go and I know I still have better odds of getting a tag at some point in the future then I ever will in random. I'm not going to try for the very best units I'll hunt a regular unit and try my best to kill the best animal in it

Not a system of entitlement. That's just how some people act. It's a system of preference given to those in the game the longest. I have allot better odds of my points getting me a tag then my luck I can tell you that much. And there is still random tags for people that don't have the points to...

All I know for sure is there are allot of people that will never get to hunt moose or bighorn sheep in the west or any of the big 5 so any tag issued to non residents is a privilege beyond what you guys arguing about your entitlement seem to comprehend.

Also I don't know why you're concerned with what wyo does. Your state doesn't even allow non resident elk hunting or sheep hunting and resident archery deer hunters and pheasant hunters get a head start. What else am I missing

I don't like bonus points. Just looking at the south dakota draws people get screwed regularly you'll see a whole pool of guys with 9 or 10 points not draw while all the tags went to guys with 3 or 4

Exactly for me and I would assume most people if you only get one in your life it is more convenient to know when you're going to draw so you can be away from work and other responsibilities as much as possible when you do draw
