Well, I knew the other way, but didnt want to ruin the surprise. The results are: No buffalo tag. But on a good note, my dad drew a LE deer tag, and my brother drew he San Juan elk tag Mid season hunt. Looks like I get to have some good family time.

I used to enjoy watching the tines up videos, Jaden, Reggie Parsen, they had some great things going, just havent seen any updated videos for a few years, but still watch re-runs on Youtube to get me excited.

Also I know they are giving hours right now if you will take some wood from areas they are cleaning out and haul it to the reservation for use.

I know of a guzzler that needs fixed, if you want, they gave me hours to install it, but when i went to check on it last it wasn't working properly, its located on elkridge in hammond canyon. Propose to them that you want to go fix it and I can take you in if you want.

So night vision use, will this be spotlighting as well on the LE deer units? I know this is a tactic that some have been using for years to locate a big buck to hunt the next morning?

There not one, but you are against cutting deer tags because of the lack of opportunity it brings, but you are not in favor of cutting the early rifle tags that would help increase tags else where which would give more opportunity.

the problem with auction tags is not the money that comes in for conservation for me, its the fact that our wildlife management is catered to the auction tags and not to the health of herds or to the benefit of the public. Why didn't Utah completely go away from the early season elk rifle tags...

Just and FYI if you are not buying a CWMU tag and are just getting a general season tag and paying an outfitter to go on someones property you are more than likely going to be chasing mule deer the rest of the public chase on general season units, which is yearlings and 2 year old bucks.

I hope the UDWR makes sure to make big bold highlighted warnings all of the regulations to make sure every muzzleloader hunter is aware of the change. Make no doubt, even it should be posted when applying for muzzleloader that there are scope changes.

im not trying to figure a debate of cattle use on public property, i believe both are necessary. i think that there are plenty of canyons and areas that have been overgrown that need to be thinned out, and the use of cattle would be beneficial. Cattle grazing helps in my opinion,

Some of you may know this, and understand how it works. So I have always heard or been under the impression that Utah elk populations numbers were set by Legislation and that DWR cannot change the numbers or increase numbers, is this correct, and if so where can i find the information. Thanks,

I’ll give the location of where this buck was shot. Macos, thats a hint, but yes its a LE unit not general like some are saying. Bess I found out just this week.
