I don't have any custom rifles. I own a .270 Weatherby, several Tikka rifles and a Browning X-Bolt that shoots hand loads as good as any "custom rifles" can shoot. Maybe I should say as good as I'm capable of shooting.

X6A is a fun hunt, but be prepared for a lot of people. There are some really good bucks there though.

Archery hunting is more exciting in my opinion. But because of my job it's very hard to get away that time of year, so rifle it is.

I'd say there is a very good chance you'd spend the rest of the day looking for that buck if you hit it. That's a no for me too.

I bought two of my daughters Tikka T3 Lite rifles, in a .270. They shoot great of of the box, and little recoil.

I have the VX5-HD on my Browning X-Bolt and really like it. The CDS dial turret has been great as well.

Unfortunately F&G enforces the "law" on this one. We should still run lions and bears with dogs, but that will never happen again.
